On-page SEO for a homepage renting villas

The client found me on Linkedin and sent me a direct message.

The website we worked on was the client’s second website (they transferred to another CMS).

The aim was to increase website visits and bookings of Croatian villas on the Adriatic coast.

SEO AND COPYWRITING achieved more website traffic

The client wanted that more potential clients visit the homepage, and focused on two major client profiles: American and UK clients.

We looked at the main keyword the client used before contacting me, and worked on other ones, more searched in the two locations/regions we focused on.

We used Google Search Console for the data, alongside with GA4.

Apart from the homepage, I also wrote 2 blog articles on 2 other keywords for which we thought that they will be searched more in the following months.

Website optimisation - Higher Google ranking for a keyword

The keyword “rent a villa in Croatia”, as in the image below, is a very competitive keyword. It means that there are many websites ranking for that particular keyword.

So, we needed to look into the website showing up in the top 10 Google search results and analyze what they did right.
