The data here are from Ahrefs, an SEO tool that you can add to your Chrome browser as an extension.
You activate the tool when you want to inspect a particular web page.
In this case it’s a luxury retreat on the island of Mali Lošinj, Croatia.
So, what is it that you must consider when you want to SEO optimise a homepage like that?
This Chrome extension by Ahrefs tells you key parameters of the website : its title and description as displayed by Google in the search results.
Obviously, the meta data play an important role. These are the title and the description (each shown above with the maximum characters they can have, 60 and 160)
In the Content section you see that there’s no keyword in the H1 (the most important heading).
The H1 has “legend” and “reborn” which do not figure as keywords.
Would you look for a “legend” when you want to find a hotel or retreat in Mali Lošinj, in Croatia?
